After six years as Secretary General of the Chamber, Aaron Pugliesi has stepped down and will be leaving the Chamber staff in the coming weeks. On behalf of the Chamber, the Council wishes him well for the future.
We are pleased to confirm that Colin Vincent (someone well known to many of our longer standing members) has agreed to step in and help us with the transition. This is not the first time that Colin has done this – it was in fact Colin who helped us significantly as Secretary General for 8 months in the transition process before Aaron originally took up the role. He will be supported as ever by Maria Rosa, Maria Luisa, Roberta and our interns who are working hard to ensure that it is business as usual as we head towards what will be an important year for the Chamber, our 120th year Anniversary.
This milestone is an opportunity for celebration, but also for reflection and renewal, and we hope that many of our members will be able to join us in this process which will provide us with a platform from which we can approach the future with confidence.
Meanwhile, we would like to remind you of our upcoming ‘Innovation Conference’ on Thursday, 23rd November at Milano Linate Center and we are pleased to inform you that Layla Pavone, Coordinatrice Board Innovazione Tecnologica e Trasformazione Digitale del Comune di Milano, has just accepted our invite to join our distinguished speaker lineup at the conference. Please go to https://britishchamber.it/events/bcci-conference-innovation/ for full programme and to register your attendance.
