Recording available – BCCI Brexit Updates: Episode 4 – 26 November 2020

Dec 3, 2020 | Brexit, Information Portal, News

In this fourth episode of our Brexit Updates series together with experts from KPMG and Essex Court Chamber we focused on two essential elements for cross border trade: the new customs formalities and non-tariff barriers and VAT.
We looked at solutions to mitigate the impact of these new rules and how to manage goods that have already been shipped before the 31 December 2020.
We also examined VAT after Brexit: What will change & what will not, including intra EU acquisitions, input tax recovery claims, import VAT and Italian businesses registered for UK VAT. How place of supply rules will work, the effect of EU principles and the position of Northern Ireland: half in, half out?
