AGM 2026 – Meet the candidates for Council

We are pleased to introduce the candidates standing for election or re-election to the Council of the BCCI for a two-year term: Marina Bidoli, Marco Dalla Longa, and Mariateresa Giussani.

Marina Bidoli

Marina Bidoli joined critical issues firm Brunswick as a Partner in 2008. She has extensive experience in communication and journalism, having worked in Italy, the UK and Southern Africa. She formerly headed Brunswick South Africa.

Now based in Milano, she leads on significant crises, deals and reputation mandates. Marina chairs the Brunswick’s European DEI Committee.

She formerly headed Group Communications at energy firm Sasol and was an award-winning journalist.

She holds an MBA and BA degree, and serves on external advisory boards.

She serves as an Officer at the BCCI where she leverages her expertise to provide meaningful networking opportunities to enhance the Chamber’s membership drive.

Marco Dalla Longa

Marco Dalla Longa graduated in Economics and Business Administration at  “Luigi Bocconi” University of Milan and has been a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor for more than 30 years.

He is mainly involved in providing advice to industrial, commercial and retail companies on corporate and tax matters, purchases and transfers of going concerns, incorporation of Italian subsidiaries of multinational companies, company liquidations.

In particular, Marco is specialized in providing consulting services to domestic companies and multinational companies having subsidiaries in Italy, relating to corporate governance, direct, indirect and local taxes, VAT issues in accordance with domestic and EU rules, concerning ordinary and extraordinary transactions as well as performing tax due diligences.  Furthermore, he deals with preliminary hearings with the Tax Authorities and tax. 

Mariateresa Giussani

Mariateresa Giussani is the Founder and CEO of Les Myrtilles, a luxury children’s clothing brand renowned for its premium cashmere collections, and LM School Uniforms, one of the leading providers of high-quality school uniforms designed to support schools, families, and students. With extensive experience in retail entrepreneurship and brand development, she has built two successful businesses that reflect her commitment to quality, ethical practices, and timeless design.

Her expertise spans the entire value chain—from product design and sourcing to supply chain optimization, digital commerce, and customer experience management—with a focus on creating brands that address real needs at different stages of growth, from early childhood through the school years.

In addition to her entrepreneurial activities, Mariateresa Giussani serves as an Officer and National Delegate at the BCCI, where she actively contributes to strengthening bilateral economic relations between the United Kingdom and Italy. In this role, she supports international collaboration across industries, with a particular focus on sustainability, innovation, and enterprise.

Mariateresa is recognized for her dynamic, people-centered leadership style, which combines creativity with strategic vision. She is deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within her teams, fostering inclusive workplaces that reflect the communities served by her brands and provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds.
