The people of the Italian peninsular and the people of the British Isles had a strong commercial relationship even before the arrival of Julius Caesar. So, it is hardly surprising that eventually a networking and commerce chamber would be set up. The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy was born one-hundred-twenty years ago today.
On this special day as we celebrate the creation of the Chamber and the bond between Italy and UK that is still going strong in this anniversary year. I am pleased to announce that our annual Gala Dinner, with guest of honour HM Ambassador to Italy, Ed Llewellyn OBE, will take place in Milan on Wednesday, 23rd October. I encourage you all to mark this event in your calendars and to join us in celebrating the Chamber and its continued work in its 120th year.
I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a happy Easter.
Kind regards
