Dear Member,
This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chamber will be held on 25 June.
At the AGM, two seats on the Chamber’s Governing Council will become vacant and will be up for election. As a Chamber member, you may nominate anyone you choose for election to one of those seats.
The Chamber’s Governing Council meets quarterly to review, discuss and set the Chamber’s strategy and has overall responsibility for its business.
Your nomination will be considered and voted at the AGM if received by the acting secretary general Gianni Iaia – gianni.iaia@britishchamber.it – by not later than 31 March. The nomination must:
- provide details of the nominee together with brief particulars of his/her qualification for the role;
- be accompanied by written acceptance from the nominee; and
- be countersigned by two other Chamber members.
Please note that each Sponsoring Sustaining Member has the right to nominate its own representative to the Council without the requirement for a vote at the AGM. For information on the Chamber’s membership levels and the benefits relating to each level, please see here
Additionally, as a Chamber member, you may propose motions for consideration at the AGM. Again, please send the acting secretary general details of the proposed motion, countersigned by two other Chamber members, by not later than 31 March and it will be considered and voted upon at the AGM.
If you have any questions, please email the acting secretary general Gianni Iaia at gianni.iaia@britishchamber.it .
