On the 14th of June, “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵-𝗦𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿” event was held in Marsala (TP), organised by The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy to celebrate the deep historical, cultural and economic ties between Sicily and the United Kingdom.
The event was attended by institutional figures and business representatives, including HMA 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗹𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗢𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗩𝗢, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Italy and San Marino, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗔𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼, Ambassador of Italy, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, Mayor of Marsala, together with numerous representatives of the British and Italian business and professional world.
The entire day was coordinated by Paolo C Coniglio Pringle OBE MBA, Honorary Representative for Sicily of the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy, who took care of every detail of the initiative, contributing decisively to its success.
The event represented an important opportunity to strengthen the already excellent relations of friendship and business cooperation between the UK and Italy, confirming the will of both countries to continue on a path of dialogue and cooperation.
The day ended with the “British Party”, a cocktail on the magical island of Mozia, sealing a meeting under the banner of history, culture and international relations.
