Recording available – BCCI Brexit Updates: Episode 1 – 15 October 2020

Oct 22, 2020 | Brexit, Information Portal, News

In this first episode of our Brexit Updates series live on Thursday 15th October 2020 we asked ourselves where we are in the journey towards the end of the Transition Period and take stock of what we know has happened so far and what might happen next.

We were delighted to welcome HM Consul-General Milan and Director Italy, Department for International Trade, Catriona Graham, who joined our discussion and talked about the Keep Business Moving campaign launched by the British Government to reach out to small and medium sized enterprises in Italy and to help them to prepare for the changes that they will face. We were also joined by an expert from Department for the Environment Fisheries and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) to talk about the new regime governing Geographical Indications (IGP, DOP, STG), a matter of some significant interest in Italy given the importance of the Made n Italy brand and especially in relation to food and wine.
