How leading fashion organisations have committed to setting a decarbonisation pathway for the whole industry, preventing future threats, creating decent jobs and unlocking inclusive and clean growth.
In 2021 the UK will host the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP26, in partnership with Italy.
During COP24 in 2018 a group of fashion stakeholders worked to find ways in which the broader textile and fashion industry could move towards a holistic commitment to climate action and signed the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action.
Within a series of talks organised under the DIT Europe Clean Growth campaign, the Department for International Trade Italy has invited key representatives of the UK and Italy fashion industry to talk about their commitment to sustainable and ethical practices, encourage more companies to sign the Charter and embrace the Race to Zero campaign.
