The Assocazione Da Ponte is an Italian association formed to deliver a newly created 'Da Ponte Festival' in Vittorio Veneto;  the home town of the celebrated opera librettist, Lorenzo Da Ponte. He is recognised and famed for writing the libretto of Mozart’s trilogy of operas. This year’s festival will span August and September and consists of 2 workshops for young International singers who will be instructed by renowned language and vocal coaches, culminating in a new production of the opera 'Così Fan Tutte' with a cast of up and coming opera singers selected from around Europe.

These performances are being staged in the Da Ponte Theatre in Vittorio Veneto on 6th, 7th and 8th September.

The Da Ponte Festival works In collaboration with the Comune of Vittorio Veneto and British company MusicaLink Ltd whose whose purpose is to encourage an Anglo-Italian cross-cultural high level musical bridge between the UK and Italy. Through performance and education we have and continue to create opportunities and nurture the professional development of singers and musicians; made possible by the fostering of relationships with international artists.

OperAffinity is a UK- and Italian-registered non profit organisation that supports emerging operatic talent while promoting cultural diplomacy, international collaboration, and youth empowerment through music.

Founded by Breana Stillman, OperAffinity creates high-impact artistic programmes that celebrate excellence and inclusion. Its flagship event, the OperAffinity Festival, takes place each September in Todi, Umbria, and brings together leading institutions such as the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, musicians from the Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and the Conservatorio di Perugia. The 2025 edition features young artists from five continents, with a strong British presence including Scottish soprano Marie McLaughlin as Director of the opera programme, which will include 14 young aspiring opera singers and performers from Glyndebourne, Opera Holland Park, and major opera houses across Europe.

Beyond Italy, OperAffinity leads transformative cultural projects globally. Its Kenya Opera Programme, developed in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi, offers intensive training and international exposure for outstanding young African singers. In 2025, two singers selected by the Kenyan Ministry of Culture will join the OperAffinity Festival, marking a major step in their professional journeys.
